I forgot to mention my 5K! It was mid-20s here, and by far one of the warmest days I have run outside this year. I finished in 25:56, which is my best time yet! Although my goal was 24:00, I am still happy with my performance. The second half of the course was through a neighborhood and on unplowed sidewalks. So I think I did pretty good. I am skipping the Superbowl 5K because I was sick last week. Hopefully I will improve my time again on February 17th's 5K.

Today is my 29th birthday. Yikes! I am going skiing because we got 6 inches of snow on Friday. I will wrap up the day by country line dancing at the Whiskey Barrel. Photos will be posted eventually....

Today is it -13 degrees with the windchill. Since I spend half of my day walking around campus, I have on my long underwear and Smartwool socks. Brrr!!

Last night I missed all of trivia except the last 1.5 rounds. I had a focus group of sorts with the undergraduate zoology majors. They took my survey and gave me some feedback about it. It was extremely productive. I have some tweaking to do, but feel good about the direction I am headed. Back to trivia though- The Chinooks didn't even place this week. Pretty crazy since our friends Cory and Lisa were there to help the team in our absence. Better Late Than Never did take home first place, which was nice since they haven't won anything yet.

Next Tuesday I am going to see Will Ferrell on campus, so I will be missing trivia again. Doh!
