Happy 88th Birthday Grandpa!



And welcome to Michael James Tubbs, my new nephew. He weighed in at 8.6 pounds and was 21 inches long. Pictures as soon as my mom figures out how to download them...

Today I made a big announcement at work. I resigned my position at the aquarium. My last day will be April 10th. My new job is a lab tech for 3 immunology professors at MSU. I start April 13th. Although I enjoyed my time at the aquarium, I believe this decision is best for me at this point in my life. The thought of moving all my crap again makes me want to vomit, but everything will work out.

Before I go back to the mid-west, I have a few fun trips planned. Next weekend I hope to return to NYC for my friend Carey's birthday party at a swing club. I will also make a trip to Rochester to see my new nephew, whenever he decides to show up. Finally, James and I are headed to Europe for some skiing, sight-seeing, and family reunions.

Last weekend, I went to NYC for my 30th (gasp) birthday. The BU girls, James, JonKiel, and my Penfield friends were out in full force. I will add photos tomorrow.
