Finally, on Saturday Lisa, Kristen, Katie and I went to Uncle John's Cider Mill in ST. Johns. It was fuch a great time! We started off with some wine tasting, then we listened to Elvis, took a tractor ride, and picked pumpkins. It was really cold out (thank God I was wearing my long underwear) but we had donuts and cider to warm ourselves up. Lisa got the biggest pumpkin of all, weighing in at 24 pounds!

The weather was perfect last weekend for MSU vs OSU tailgating. The boys fried a turkey (and later twinkies, fries, and onion rings), I made veggie chili, and Gretchen made some hot cider. There was a ton of other good food too! The afternoon was fairly uneventful, aside from the football taking a swim in the river. Here are some pix. Go green!
