Per Jolo's request, here is my new hair do. It's
rather hard to take a self-portrait and look natural. It got rather
ridiculous as I tried to find something in my apartment at the right
height. Of course, my 'do looked better after my hairdresser did it,
but I do what I can.

The plan is to gain some length. I am not sure how I feel about the bangs, but for now I can tolerate them.

It has been a crazy weekend. Friday aftennoon I went to the hairdresser and got my hair did. After polling my friends on myspace and facebook, I became a brunette. I love it! (I'll try to get a picture up here soon). My good friend Courtney and I got dressed up and hit the town afterwards. I wore my new shoes!

We had some cocktails with friends and danced a little.

Saturday was another MSU home football game. (GO GREEN!)I was going to make a brief appearance by dropping off some food that my friend left in my office. But on the way there, I get into a car accident. Not my fault, thank God, but still a pain in my arse. My car is not driveable because my wheel is tiled inward, so my axel is probably messed up too. Nothing is open on the weekend, so I have to wait until tomorrow to get an update. Luckliy, I have rental cars covered by my insurance, so I picked up one today.

Since I dog sat this weekend and last, my apartment is out of control. I have much tidying up to do and packing as I get ready for my trip to Philadelphia. Courtney and I are presenting posters at the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) annual conference. We are staying at my friend Hillary's all week. It should be fun to explore a new city and see an old friend. Missing classes will be tough, but I'll get over it.

I know I still need to post AK pictures. Sorry. I'll see if I can catch up a bit in Philly. Have a good week!
