Hey there. Just a quick update. Friday I met with my adviser about my thesis project. I am 99% sure I will be photo-id'ing hawksbill turtles that are seen off the coast of FL. It is such a relief to have something to work towards and not be flailing around anymore. I have done photo-id work with humpbacks, so it will be cool to try it with another species. Plus photo id is HUGE in marine mammals, so maybe I can cross over when I graduate. The goal is to be marketable after graduation, right?
Over the weekend I had my second to last business class. It was about groups and their dynamics, so it was pretty interesting. It totally wore me out though and I went to bed early on Saturday. Sunday I had nothing to do (aside from school work) so I watched Sex and the City all day and had lunch with Courtney and Joe. Inspired by SITC, I got gussied up and met Trips out for cocks and apps. Why isn't it warm out so I can wear all my cute shoes?
Today I learned CPR and First Aid at work. It made me long to be an EMT or join ski patrol somewhere. Of course, yesterday I was ready to reapply to vet school. Maybe I am just trying to avoid getting a "real" job. This evening, my friends and I had a softball game through MSU intramurals. I struck out, got out at first, and then was walked. It's a little different than Penfield Rec league. Unfortunately we lost, and our season ended. Better luck next year!
Now I need to work on some grants. Free money for my research makes me happy! Keep your fingers crossed. :)
