The tri training is kicking my butt. Six out of seven days a week, I am running, riding, swimming, or lifting. Friday night, I had an indoor soccer game. Saturday's training called for a 50 minute run (5.47 miles- woo hoo!). We think I overdid it on Sunday. I had an outdoor full-field soccer game and then swam in the pond for 20 minutes. It was pretty chilly on Sunday. As soon as I got in the deeper water, I wanted to come back out. James made me stay in. Personally, I think he enjoyed how ridiculous I looked in my swim cap, googles, suit, and dive booties. When I got come I was wiped out! I had a nap and went to bed early. Monday I was still dragging. I bought some protein suppliment in the hopes that it will help my body recover a bit.

Tonight I am picking up my bike with new slick tires on it. This should help me in my daily commute and the tri. I look forward to trying it out.

James is back in town. We have put the finishing touches on the house. He is taking great pride in the grass he planted in the back yard. It was a horrible mess but now it is lucious. He didn't have much luck with our mower, so we are going to get it sharpened. There is a war between us and some ants, but I think are beginning to win.

My grandma is doing much better with her physical therapy. Unfortunately, my grandpa fell and broke his hip. He did well in surgery but now we wonder how (or if) he will recover to pre-surgery abilities. My mom and brother have been great keeping me up to date on their progress.

Finally- big shout-outs to friends who are graduating. Krishna is now a doctor (even the kind that helps people!). Hillary will be a vet in less than a week. I AM SO PROUD OF YOU LADIES!! I have some smart friends, don't I?
