This year's IM soccer team, the Chinooks, was 1-4. Even though we were
matched up against the other old folks in the grad student league, we
weren't able to pull off a victorious season. We had fun though, and
got a bit of exercise in. Because last night was our last game, I brought popsicles as a treat. GO CHINOOKS! Let's hope we do a little better in indoor next semester.

Alrighty then. Last post for today. TAILGATE!!

The usual crew. We are very dog friendly.

For some reason, Seth thought, and I agreed that chocolate pudding shots were a good idea. They are not.

What was I thinking? Officially a sticky mess.

This is my new favorite friend Mel from Minnesota. She is so much fun!

Sometimes I am fun too.

Mel and I played Cornhole (aka Baggo for you Upstaters) with Andy and Shane.

Shane and I rocked it to win!

Mel, Seth, and Katy

Me and Shane

mmmm... snacks!

Well, thats my weekend in a nut shell. As I mentioned before, next week I will have pictures from broomball and my IM soccer team. Probably some of my mom's visit too.

Have a good week!

Here are a bunch of pictures from Friday night's festivites. Yes I had a costume change. I realize I am in most of the pictures, but that is why your here, isn't it?

From FART at Buffalo Wild Wings!

Jen, Bonnie, and Molly- the colors of fall can easily be seen in a pint glass.

Justin and Jen. awww.... (he looks like Jesus, don't you think?)

Mollie sandwhich! what a lucky guy!

#1 and #2. You know what I say- "first is worst, second is best!"

Whiskey Barrel!

Me and Leslie. cute, huh?

My new friend James is from England and loves to dance. Yeah!

I just met Brett before this picture was taken. Turns out he signed up to play on my broomball team. Which leads me to....

Bruise on knee is from soccer (note the cleat pattern). Blueish bump on shin is from broomball. Actual broomball pictures next week!

I finally have a bit of time to catch up as I watch the Red Sox. This weekend I was pretty busy. Friday was my friend Jen's birthday, so we did it up MSU style. Happy hour at BWW's and lots of line dancing at the Whiskey Barrel. I stayed out pretty late. This semester I have been really good about not drinking too much and getting to bed at a reasonable hour. This weekend it was out the window! Saturday morning, I did laundry and worked on reunion stuff. Headed to tailgate (see pix below), and got a ride home to watch the Red Sox. Unfortunately, the extra innings kept me up late. Sunday mornings mean soccer with my womens outdoor team. We lost. Like usual. Sunday afternoon I moved my salt water tank back to my apartment thanks to the help of my friend, Mel. Sunday night, broomball league started! Oh yes. After a few years hiatus, I am back on the ice. My friends at BY and I had a team for a few years. It was tons of fun and I got banged up. (again, see below). I am also posting pictures from the Tigers game.

This weekend my mom and stepdad are coming for a visit. It should be fun, but there is lots of work to do. I need to show some discipline this week. right.

Kick ass seats! Thanks Jerry. Note the Lions stadium in the background.

Of course I want a picture with the giant tiger outside the stadium. grrrrrr!

Damnit! I wish I had known!

Did I tell you that while I had the convertible, Courtney and I went to Uncle John's cider mill. Yes we spiked the cider. We are classy.

hmmm... yum!

Cheers! Gotta love free winetasting!

Aren't we cute?

I forget to mention it was Lisa's birthday on October 4th. During midterms, bummer. We went out Beggars Banquet for half price wine and appetizers. Here are the usual suspects:

Joe, Courtney, and Jen

Bonnie, Malea, and Jackson

Evan, Kristen, and Kate

Cory, Lisa, and I

Yum- birthday cake!

I'll post a post soon with tailgate pix. Promise!
