I am posting this to justify my love of mauve lipstick. I am not so crazy afterall!

OK those were supposed to be in order, but whatever.

I almost forgot- Happy Birthday Andy! Thanks for turning 28 before me. Don't forget, you promised me a cake and a maybe some dancing for my birthday. ;)

So it finally started snowing here! Woo hoo! It's about time. Folks are going XC skiing this weekend. I am holding out for some downhill action.

Tonight we went line dancing. Started off with a lesson, where we learned 3 dances. The last one was called the "Bump and Grind." Let me just say, Deroba knows how to shake what his momma gave him. All the girls did well. Here's some pix. Look closely and you will see me, Jen, and Molly.

This week everyone realized how short I am. Being a "tall 5'4" isn't easy, but I was doing good for a while. It all started when Dan, Kristen and I were talking about height. Kristen and I went lifting and I felt like a midget as I readjusted every machine after she went on it. Then Courtney noticed at spin class how short I was on my bike compared to her. Last night leaving the bar, Dan commented how short I was AGAIN even though I had some tall shoes on. I can't win. Thanks to Kevin for trying to make me feel tall.

This pic is from a party at Jared and Jon's house in celebration of Gretchen's successful defence. It's me, Lisa, and Jared chilling on the couch.

This weekend I was supposed to go to the Auto Show in Detroit. The plans fell through, but I hope to make it out there next weekend. (Toyota is debutting a hybrid with 400 horsepower engine! But from what I understand, there are no plans for production.) I did go salsa dancing though and had a great time. In fact, we'll probably go again next week because a live band is performing. That will be 3 weeks in a row. I see my friends all turning into professional ballroom dancers very soon. :)

We saw "Children of Men" Friday night. It was very interesting. I went in there knowing nothing about it. I would say it is more of a action flick than sci-fi. If you are living on a budget, it could be a rental.

2007 is a year that I have to be frugal. If I plan on travelling as much as I hope, I have to start cutting back. With that said, I cannot send birthday presents for a while. I also will cut back on how much I spend when I go out, although school keeps me pretty busy. I hope a second job will help me save up too. I had an interview at one bar and am waiting to hear back from a few others.

No school today, but I have to work. We had a mini-ice storm so much of my morning has been scraping off cars. When will it snow for real?
