Today I spent some time on Yale University's campus. It is very impressive and old. Here are some photos of buildings on campus.
I also loved some of the doorways I saw, as well as carvings in the stone.
My true mission today was to find the Beinecke Rare Book library. My friend Katie told me about it. The top photos is the exterior. Note how there are no windows. The walls are made of translucent marble. The interior shots show the books encased in glass and the large marble stones. The library also has one of 5 Gutenberg bibles that reside in the USA. The Harry Potter books are translated editions that were showcased in the "Book of Secrets: Alchemy and the European Imagination, 1500-2000" exhibit.
On my way to the Beinecke, I stumbled into another library. The windows has very cool graphics. There was also an exhibit on Arabic movie posters.
I almost look like I belong there, right?
