IT'S BARKTOBERFEST 2006 TIME! Last year, I participated in my first official race, Barktoberfest 2005. It was a 10K (6.2 miles), upill, and gave me achilles tendonitis. But it was a wonderul sense of accomplishment that I ran a real race! Believe me, God did not intend for me to be a runner. My mom's friend, Cheryl, provided the team with an excellent training program, which helped prepare us for the race. So far I am up to 3-4 mile runs. I hurt my knee at soccer on Sunday, but hope to start running again soon. Please help a great cause by sponsoring me.
Thanks so much! Remember, Lollypop is where we adopted Barnaby a year ago 9/1! The Humane Society at Lollypop Farm is one of the largest shelters in the Northeast. They provide care for cats, dogs, farm animals, and all sorts of unwanted pets. In addition, Lollypop provides obedience classes and behavioral consultations for pet owners in need.
