Do you know how much I love FREE food and burritos? TONS. In fact, today is the one of the best days ever because I won free lunch for my entire office from Chipotle, a new burrito chain on campus. The first Chipotle I went to was in Chicago with my friend Priya. It is delicious! Plus, they have a "Food with Integrity" philosophy in which they buy humanely raised meat. Today I doubley-love Chipotle because they also agreed to donate lunch to the particpants in the Animal Welfare Judging Competition here at MSU, for which I am the Development Coordinator. To be fair, Cosi is donating dessert and a few other offers I hope will come through.

mmmm... Chipotle!

Wait a minute Mr. Postman! Ok I admit. I love getting mail. Call me old-school, but nothing beats getting a hand written letter or care package. I guess it started when I moved to Boston for college. My mom would send me a letter or package at least once a month. She still does now! (Although the letters usually contain newspaper articles about science or jobs, sometimes $5!). My friends will agree, I usually beg for postcards when they are globetrotting.

So, feel free to send me a postcard, letter, or care package anytime. It would perk up my day!

School days! Yup, spring semester started today. I am back to work, and had one class. So far so good. Last week, I had my girlfriends over for dinner to celebrate not being in school. We had lots of fun! I even ended up a little hung over on Friday. Friday night was FART, which lean into bowling, which brought us to the Whiskey Barrel for some dancing and bull riding. Saturday I slept in, and did some salsa dancing dancing into the wee hours. Sunday morning was rough as I had soccer in the morning. Well, let's just say I did it up before school started and will behave from here on in.

I applied for a few waitressing jobs. I would feel a little better if I could save up some dough before the summer. The extra credits this semester and the weekend business class have out a damper on my funds. But everything should work out. I'll definately post a pic of my in my cowboy hat if I get the job at the Whiskey Barrel! Haha.

But here is a pic from Halloween, for old time's sake.
