If you show me yours, I'll show yo mine! Ok not really. My friend from Rochester, Susie, has her own blog called Last Night's Makeup. Her latest post is about tattoos. I have always wanted one. At first, my dreams were of a tribal turtle. I had no idea where I would put it, and my mom's voice would pop into my head whenever I thought about it. However, upon acceptance into grad school, I was tempted to get a humpback whale fluke. But my crazy allegy to formeldehyde stopped me from doing so. (Tattoo ink is not regualted by the FDA so the ingredients are unknown) Now I just admire other people's tats.

But I thought it would be cool if everyone posted a pic of their tat on Susie's blog. You can easily add a comment at the end of her post. I am not sure how to get a pic in there (maybe good old copy and paste?), but a picture of a tattoo and the story behind it would be pretty neat.

Now you have an excuse to procrastinate. sweet.

Ok a few more! Andy and Kristen; Tracey, Kendra, and Ray; my perfect form; and Dan reenacting a scene from "The Big Lebowski." He must like pink too.

Ok here is the pic from St. Patty's Day, Deroba's XXXX, and a picture of Trips, Josh and Kate.

Seriously- this is my horoscope from the school newspaper for today: (scale of 10 = easiest to 0 = most challenging)

Aquarius - Today is a 6 - You're frustrated by your inability to achieve your goals. Get used to it. That's a side effect of setting really big goals. Learn to use frustration as motivation.

huh. Do you think this is in reference to my degree or something else?

OK, my life picked up for a bit, but tonight has been rather calm. To catch you up:

St. Patty's Day I had a business class (only 2 more to go!) and then went over to Andy and Shane's for some basketball and carmel apple martinis (they are green- get it?). Us girls tried to get into the Green Door, but there was a line, so we ended up back at Andy's. Trips and Courtney kept drinking, while I ate uncontrollably to help my stomach. (Martinis can be too sweet sometimes. I guess I needed to add more vodka) I was exhuasted and headed home at midnight. There should be one pic here of me, Trips, Courtney and Gretchen in Andy's kitchen. It was kinda funny, because Gretchen kept getting the hiccups.

The Fisheries and Wildlife grad students had a fundraiser at the bowling alley. We all went and had a good time. I broke 100! But still lost to Deruba and Josh- dammit! Deroba got 4 strikes in a row, or so the computer thought. Dan had to dress all in pink because he lost a bet to Gretchen. haha The outfit did have its perks. A guy bought our groups shots at the bar later in the evening.

This past weekend was the Animal Welfare Judging Competition. You may recall, I was the Development Coorindator. We received tons of yummy food! Courtney and I did a practice run for our animal welfare scenario posters. Hopefully they will be accepted into the AZA conference. I am working on getting us funding to travel to the conference, and editing a manuscipt for publication into "Zoo Biology." I may also have a thesis/project! I don't want to jinx it yet, but stay tuned.

That's it for now. Hope you are having a good week!
PS Blogger is being moody. I'll post the pix separate. Sorry.
