After being in England for over a month, James and I finally have heat and internet. All the boxes are unpacked and we have 85% of our stuff put away. People have been asking for photos of our flat, and I will include a few. Let's treat them as "before." After I clean up a bit this weekend, I will take some "afters."






The flat came with a queen size bed, buffet, and couch. The landlords also sent a table and chairs two weeks later. It has been to much fun to finally use all the shower gifts we received as well as go shopping with the gift vouchers. Thanks to everyone who was so kind and generous!

James retrieved a bike (and all his boyhood belongings) from Bristol 2 weekends ago. I bought a used bike last week. Having these bikes means we can ride to the tube station rather than wait for a bus. It saves use about 30 minutes a day.

Tomorrow James and I are going to try Greenwich market. We are also going to the theatre. James surprised me with tickets to a show (I don't know which). I will have a full review next week, along with flat photos!
