Last week was pretty amazing. Work was nice enough to show the 44th presidential inauguration on a big screen in the Immersion Theater. This is the first time I remember watching it. Obama's speech was the perfect balance of hope, faith, and inspiration without making exorbitant promises. I really think he is the fresh start that America needs. Previous administrations have left a few obstacles to overcome. But Obama has hit the ground running. Hopefully he can keep up this momentum and bring us the change we all need.

It is funny to think of the significant world events that occurred in my lifetime. My first night at Boston University, Princess Diana was in the car crash. The morning of September 11th, I was sleeping (because it was my day off) when my dad called to tell me the World Trade Center was being attacked. Now I can tell my nephew (the human one who is yet to be born) where I was when the 44th president was sworn in.
