Here I Am!

A little bit about me, my travels, and adventures in London. Enjoy!

Apparently, I have blogging-fever today! Last year, I was thinking that I would get a dog upon my return to Michigan. Money is tight now because of Alaska, and I am at school a lot trying to finish up. However, this beautiful boy, BB King, has stolen my heart.

If you click on his name above, you can hear about how he is a great dog. The rescue group "Smiling Pit Bull Rescue"'s founder is currently fostering BB, and says he is great. I only wish he looked less like a put because my apartment complex has breed restrictions. Many complexes do, and even cities are banning the breed.

Isn't he cute? I always loved the blue-grey color. If his ears weren't cropped so bad, he might pass for a mix of some kind. My newphew Milhouse and Barnaby are both probably pit mixes. It is unfortunate that the breed is used for horrible things. Check out Smilin' Pit Bull Rescue to see how the breed is loving and misunderstood. (see the link to the right) The group is based out of Buffalo. Go Upstate!

So, should I adopt BB??

Well Mollie, that was obviously from your Mom! But, I'm your friend and I agree with her... about the dog! But about the 'real job'??? THIS IS A REAL JOB! After all, you get paid to play all day... :-)

Actually my friend Courtney wrote the first comment about waiting for a job. I am sure my mother will agree with her.

I also need to wait until I have a "real" house to keep my pit at. But you have to admit- he sure is good lookin'!

Here is the real Mom. Wait until your "real" job becomes a reality. You travel too much for a pet now.He is cute but because of their bad publicity, I vote for another bred that isn't restricted in apts., neighborhood, and countries.
