It's a sad day. I just officially became a Michigam resident. After being a New Yorker for 28 years, it has been great. However, under the advisement of my Fish and Wildlife Disease professor, I made the switch. Ideally, if I get the balls to apply to vet school again, I will be considered an MI resident and have a better chance to gain admittance. Also, it will lower tuition costs. My car was switched over too- new plates and all. MI does a lot of things backwards though. For example, there are no state inspections on your car. In NY, it is an annual safety procaution. I haven't figured out yet how MI residents know that they need new tires or breaks. Also, MI has no fault insurance so no matter who's fault an accident is, you pay for your own repairs. Hopefully, my accident days are behind me (knock on wood).
Have a fabulous weekend! I am bowling tonight and playing whiffle ball tomorrow. Oh, and doing work too.
