It has been a while, hasn't it? I have been busy setting up plans for Alaska. My dad is working on getting me a plant ticket, and I have been going over my budget to figure out whether I should keep my apartment. Slowly but surely, it will all come together.

We have had some great snow here. Last weekend, we went skiing twice at Caberfae Peaks, near Cadillac, MI. It is about a 2 hour drive north of Lansing. It has 4 chairlifts, making it much bigger than Hunt Hollow, where I grew up skiing. Although it is a long car side, college tickets are only $9 on Mon/Wed/Fri evenings, so you really can't beat it. Monday afternoon, I cut out of work early to go play in the 10 inches of powder they accumulated. I long for a ski trip out west! Uncle Bob- here I come!

Next week is spring break! Woo hoo! My friends from MSU (Lisa, Kate, Courtney and Joe), along with Lisa from home are accompanying me to Sarasota, FL. We will be staying on Long Boat Key with Kate's folks. I have never been to Florida and am excited to be close to the ocean again. Aside from sitting on the beach, our plans include a tour of Mote Aquarium. Daphne and Paul might drive down too to say hi. I need to start packing!
