Oh there's no place like home for the holidays! My semester has come to an end. Sorry I have been absent for a while, but things here were crazy! Recent highlights include:

• My grandma's surgery was a success and she is recooperating well!
  
• Friends and I saw the London Philharmonic Orchestera here in Lansing a few weeks ago. The show was fabulous! Lisa (MSU Lisa) and I went to dinner beforehand and got decked out for the show. Good times!
• All final projects and presentations went well. Hopefully my grades will reflect that.
• To celebrate our friend Gretchen's graduation and successful defense, Jon and Jared had a kick-butt party. Before that I was a sub for Lisa's bowling league. I never realized how much local color there is at the bowling alley.
• I heard my old roommate from Woods Hole, Aaron, also successfully defended and is now a phD! He and my friend Janelle are moving to Ithaca and adopted a cute dog, Wellington. He is the featured pic today. :)
• While home in Rochester, I am volunteering for the Salvation Army as a bell ringer. Hopefully it won't be too cold out.
  

Thats it for now. I hope to take some pix while I am home. Mandy and Stephane will be in town. Sara and Carey too! Woo hoo! I can't wait for Boxing Day.
